BDH & Young was commissioned to transform an office building that was originally intended and designed for multi-tenant use to meet the needs of a single tenant: Cargill, a longstanding client of the firm.
The space had to accommodate the requirements of Cargill’s many and varied business units—and had to offer all of the amenities employees had become accustomed to in the company’s headquarters, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, extensive food service facilities, and more.
In keeping with Cargill’s commitment to corporate responsibility and environmental innovation, the project also had to qualify for LEED certification and incorporate green design principles.
