Distinct structural challenges lead to innovative design solutions.

Client: Noran Neurological Clinic
Project Type: Medical/Architecture
Size: Four Story Medical Office Building

Our design team successfully designed both the shell building, Midtown Medical, as well as all the tenant infill. The tight configuration of the available site, located adjacent the Midtown Greenway, presented unique challenges including the necessity of a small building footprint. A new parking ramp was also designed and constructed to be shared with an existing building on the site.

The anchor tenant, Noran Neurological Clinic, benefited from past successful projects with over 20 years of design partnership with the client. With patient experience being paramount, integrated technology assisted the arrival process with a digital display that is constantly updated with new information and introduction of doctors on staff that day. Creating both real and perceived privacy was paramount in this clinic environment. The clinic also includes a sleep center that had to be carefully positioned within the building and designed to allow sleep studies to occur both during the week and weekends.
