why bdh+young rules?

There are quite a few professionals in the office who have many years of experience, but there is also a great deal of emerging talents.  Those who have been working in the field longer can offer more knowledge and experience, while some of the younger professionals can offer new and fresh ideas.  This working relationship creates a balanced, efficient, and innovative design process.

why design matters?

Design impacts not only our generation, but future generations to come.  There is a direct relationship between informed design decisions, and the ability of an individual or community to perform well.  Successful design is one that improves the overall health, safety, and well-being of those who utilize the space.

when in the kitchen, I’m cooking...

Usually anything and everything with cheese 🙂

favorite childhood memory?

My sister and I planted a bag of Skittles beneath an oak tree in our yard, watered them, and then waited for Skittles to fall from the sky.  Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed when nothing fell from the sky like it had in the commercials.

When I’m not at work, I like to...

Spend time with friends and family and be outdoors as much as possible.  I love boating and wakeboarding in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter. Always enjoy seeing new places and trying new things!
