why bdh+young rules?
They’re giving me the chance to expand my knowledge and grow as a designer. I feel supported by everyone within the team to be the best designer that I can be, and they are going to do what they can to help me achieve.
why design matters?
Design matters because without it, the world around us would be quite hard to live in. I was exposed to the importance of design as a young child in the area of product design by my father. I didn’t really get exposed to the importance of interior design until I was 10, seeing my father’s business partner make a floor plan to rearrange their injection molding machines. At that age, I didn’t realize that a large warehouse of machines had to be designed to function properly. Since then, I have been interested in the importance of design in the little things that people really don’t notice or pay much attention to.
when I'm in the kitchen, I'm cooking...
Let’s be honest, it’s a recipe I found on pinterest as I was walking into the grocery store to buy things for dinner.
when I'm not at work, I like to...
I am either obsessing over my dog, Darby, finding new ways to be creative, or doing something that involves cars. I don’t like to get bored, so I am always looking for new things to learn and do.
favorite movie ever?
Anything Harry Potter related, because it is a world I’m still hoping exists. I am still waiting on my Hogwarts or Ilvermorny letter.
